Faisal Mosque

The Faisal Mosque (Urdu: فیصل مسجد, romanized: faisal masjid) is the national mosque of Pakistan, located in the capital city, Islamabad. It is the sixth-largest mosque in the world, the largest mosque outside the Middle East, and the largest within South Asia, located on the foothills of Margalla Hills.

Pakistan Monument

The Pakistan Monument (Urdu: یادگارِ پاکستان) is a national monument and heritage museum located on the western Shakarparian Hills in Islamabad, Pakistan. The monument was constructed to symbolize the unity of the Pakistani people. It is dedicated to the people of Pakistan who sacrificed their "today" for a better "tomorrow".

Margalla Hills

Margalla ridge. This track is 44 kms in length. It starts from Shah Allah Ditta or Kainthlan village nearby and goes towards Talhar and ends at Dunga Gali. First part of trail starts at Kainthlan village, Shah Allah Ditta caves and goes towards Talhar. From Dino valley you enter the trail again and 9 kms walk takes you to village Pharrila.

The South Rim of the park is the most popular due to its easy access and shops in the Grand Canyon Village. Check out the amazing viewing points and catch the free shuttle to explore other lookouts and hiking trails. There is a range of hikes that you can choose from, all ranging in difficulty and duration. For a short hike with a great view, either walk along the Kaibab Trail to Cedar Ridge or Grandview Trail to the first overlook. If you are up for a challenge, hike the Bright Angel Trail to Plateau Point and get a great view of the Colorado River. Grand Canyon helicopter tours, guided hikes and Colorado river rafting trips are also a great way to explore the national park.
